It's finally fall!

It's finally fall!  And the weather has been getting a little cooler making it really feel like fall!  Ava is now 18 months and had her check up last week.  She weighed in at 25 pounds and 32 inches tall, right on track for her age.  She continues to grow her vocabulary all the time, and we are working on her manners, "please" and "thank you".  She definitely has a very strong personality and knows what she wants, and throws a fit when she can't have it!  We are working on that too!  We have been busy lately, we went to Nashville a few weeks ago to visit "Grandpa (or "B-pa" as Ava says) Darvin", enjoying the UT Football season tailgating and went to a pumpkin patch farm last weekend.  We are definitely enjoying the fall and can't believe it will be Thanksgiving in the next few weeks! 

 

 

 

 

 

Time is flying!!!

I can't believe it is almost October! Ava just keeps growing and doing something new everyday!  We are enjoying this stage so much!  She is really talking a lot and loves to try to sing in the car to the radio, it's so cute!  This weekend was a good one, nice and relaxing, not too much going on which is sometimes nice. We went to a birthday party at the park and then Victor went to Nashville for the Titans vs. Broncos game so Ava and I went to the Aquarium with her cousin, Liam, my mom and sister.  The Aquarium was fun but it wore me out, we won't be going back until Ava is a bit older and not running around so much -wheew! The weekend!

After a long work trip Victor is finally home and now that it's the weekend we get to spend family time together.  We went to the water park after dinner tonight. It was a little cold so Ava wasn't too excited about it so we'll have to try again during the day time.  Here are some pictures from our day today.
